Behind the obvious top two teams you mentioned I would think the mustangs, panthers, and pioneers, will battle it out for third, followed by paint valley, pike ton and the huntsmen trying to stay out of the cellar. Should be pretty balanced after the two favorites.

I ll go with UHS at the top. Loaded
2) Adena returns 4 starters but Smith will be missed
3) Whs returns everyone but phillips
4) Sehs returns 4 starters new staff
5) Zt has to replace 2 all league players
6) Phs has plenty of size but must have guard play
7) Pv has a 1st teamer but she needs help
8) Hhs could sneak up to the 6 th spot

Strausbaugh won't be at SE this year. She'll be with Dunkle at ZT.

Sounds about right. Hope the Lady Shermans can overtake the Warriors for the league title. Should be two great games between the two teams. Everyone should watch out for Westfall in the 2nd half as well with those freshmen getting used to varsity ball, they could make some noise down the stretch.

Trace will be very dangerous. Both soccer and volleyball made it to the regionals. Volleyball won the league and I think the soccer gals won the Ross County Cup this year. Cross Country with some crossover soccer players won the SVC as well. Last spring the lady Pioneers won the SVC in softball and I believe the Track team did likewise with youthful talent. My point is, On the girls side Trace is well above the athletic curve right now and they know how to win, to go along with a very good coach in Mr. Dunkle will make Trace a dangerous team to look past this season.

Both Westfall and Huntington bring in strong freshman classes. I look for improvements by both clubs by the turn.

Over all it should come down between Unioto and Adena. I give the advantage to A healthy Unioto team this year.

Huntington needs to get more shots for the SAMs, more screens and picks. Have big posts but they need to play in the post. Agree you don't win with one player, but you still need to get your best player/shooter the most shots and she is not selfish and will pass once defense adjusts. Rough year for the huntsman but will catch a few teams coasting

Does Huntington have any scrimmages left before their first game at Paint Valley?
