Nope, we were put on the waiting list. UGH ! Instead going to the Tim Walton Clinic, on her top 10 list.

Hoping to see all the games on Friday. Hopefully SOCFAN and some others will post some feedback on the games. I enjoy reading different perspectives and watching the kids play. Post your feedback...

Gopher,

We are going to make room for your dd to sit with us... Always room for a good softball kid! Hopefully she doesnt mind us rooting for Eastern Brown....LOL! Just tell her to keep that black and orange to a minimum. Seriously, always good to catch up with her and hear about how she is doing. Excites me for the kids in this area.

Watched some pretty good ball tonight at the preview. I think it will be tough to choose between Fayetteville and North Adams for dominance in the SHAC. Both had good ball movement and played unselfish ball. Eastern will be scrappy, but certainly don't have the size of previous years, will rely alot on their only 6 footer, Johnson. At least she plays that way. Was a bit surprised to see a familiar face in a Peebles uni ....... again.

I agree, what I saw showed great potential for all teams. Some are not as deep with talent, but those players tend to be pretty scrappy and get hands on the ball. Fayetteville is the clear front runner in my opinion (hear they may go DIV next year.....#WOW). North Adams is at a good starting point to be a force by the end of the season. They continue to understand roles and will get much better as the season progresses. I was impressed with the way Fairfield came out early on Peebles. But, Wallace and Pell were too much down the stretch. Eastern is working in some young players that will need to step up or they will see limited success. Johnson and Turner showed their upper class experience tonight. Eastern needs to find an answer for low post defense. I am sure Burrows will address that today ;-)....

Fayetteville looks to lead the league again.

NA has all the pieces to make a run.

Why did so many girls leave Peebles, I expected them to be a powerhouse this year?

It's not supposed to be the SHAC until next year?

Had to listen to the first game on C103 and they were using the SHAC reference so I thought I would start getting used to it.

Miss Swayne is back, should make for a fun time in the Spring. Not sure how that whole transfer / eligibility thing works coming back from Piketon. Guess MD can address that one, I know he is smarter than me. PS. Portsmouth is a bit of a commute.

Dad had residency in Piketon school district I thought....if that's the case then she'd just have to live within Peebles district....Peebles being her OHSAA home school.

It would surprise me if Fayetteville didn't win a gold ball this year.
