The high school gym is "Jim Myers" gymnasium. Named after long time youth coach and newspaper editor. If you get a chance, check out "Chieftain Stadium". Very impressive.

Keeping this thread near the top so you can see who we are, and where we been.

Nice win tonight vs Adena 66-47 in Div III Region semi final from Logan H S.
Scoring for the Cadets went 14, 14, 13, 9, 6, and 2. good balance scoring, as it has been all season.
That and very good defense has been key to their success.

With the Cadet win today Coach Dan Liedtke has coached both FF boys and girls to the state tourney.
Who else has done this with the same school ??

Now that our district has had a team come "this" close to a state title game, I want to ask . . . Why? There isn't a Division 1 recruit in the bunch. Nobody was particularly tall or strong or fast. Now that we've watched this one group of young ladies from our district develop into an elite team, is it possible for Fort Frye to have a team achieve at this level on a regular basis?

Next year watch for Brooke Borich to blowup. The girls Jv was awesome. Adkins, Parsons, Borich, Meaghan Liedtke should give FF girls a great chance at success

bogo: I mean . . . what would it take for Fort Frye to make it to this level on a regular basis, not just once every 70 years.
