Also, what is the name of Fairland's center? Is it Stapleton? She's been benched with two fouls since midway through the first quarter.

29-15 with 3:13 left in the 3rd. I would guess West is around 0-12 from 15+ feet.

46-32 final. Dragons are a heck of a team but I would have liked to see a little more effort from the Senators. Either way, they had a great season.

Yes Buckeye you are right. West only turned it on the last quarter. They were outmatched in many ways though. Would like a team consisting on #5 for Adena, #31 for Adena, #11 for Ironton, #22 for Fairland,
#23 Fairland, #22 for West and #3 for West! Great fun watching all these teams. Congratulations to all these teams.

When I heard Stapleton from Fairland was 6'4", my immediate thought was that she was the dominant player on the team and that their gameplan would be to feed her the ball. But then she got into early foul trouble and the Dragons had to play almost the entire first half without her. They still continued to pour it on. That was very impressive. I think West focused too much on her and perimeter shooting. When she was out of the game, it seemed as though they tried to get the best mid-range shot possible rather than crashing the basket. I guarantee they were outrebounded by at least 15 boards.

Regardless of the outcome, I think both teams were evenly matched up athletically. Fairland got roughly 6-7 uncontested layups because of confusion on the defensive end for West, and ultimately, it played a huge role in the outcome. I guess this far in the tournament, it really depends on who executes with the least amount of flaws. Fairland isn't the most athletic team I have seen play, but they are certainly one of the most intelligent and patient, and I think they have a good shot to go a long way this year.

I dont think they said they were from west.Whoever this is, they have been complimentary towards west this year. They must be a just a fan of all teams in the area. Can't fault them for that..Lighten up a bit...West had a great year they just ran into a better team...
