First of all, Lady Cadets, congratulations on a wonderful season. You had all of SEO pulling for you. Quite an accomplishment to make it to the final four, and you gave the favorite all they wanted, and then some. This squad has had one heck of a four year run, I'm sure the best in school history. Congratulations on all of your accomplishments and for representing your community so well.

Heck of a game FF had 5 threes goe in out. Down 3 Shawntell missed a 3 at the buzzer. They played tough and shut down UC recruit Marley Hill down.

Parsons three try (right in front of us, we were at floor level) with about 3 seconds left was a good look, but just didn't fall.
Two or three breaks, and we'd be playing on Saturday.
Great bunch of Seniors going out, but a good group of young ladies comming up.
Don't rebuild, just reload. Go FF Lady Cadets, and best of luck to the four Seniors at the next level.

Didn't FF beat P. South? I thought they did. If so look at it this way. You are the AAA State
champions in West by gosh Virginia. Lol. Great season FF girls and coaches. Best coach in SE Ohio.

Definitely not true! They were never close to "having it". To me, two very critical stages of the game was one, when FF went from having a decent working margin to behind by 1 at half due two two treys by Afr in the last 2 minutes of the first half taking the score from 18-13 to 18-19. Those two were the only two treys AFR made in the game. The other was in the last qtr between 2 and 3 minutes left when the score was still just one possession at 37-39, when FF had two very good shots for treys to take the lead that didn't fall. After those two misses, Afr called TO and started to hold the ball with still a 2pt lead. I thought then FF was still in reasonably good shape with 6 fouls and looking at making Afr have to make three one and ones, and they played it smart, and tried to steal the ball for a minute until it got down to a minute left when they took a foul. Afr who was just 7/13 on FTs for the game, made both ends, then they missed the next one, but got the rebound, then made both ends of the last one, taking the lead to 6, before missing two on the double bonus after the FF trey cut it to 43-40, which gave FF that last chance at the trey with under 5 seconds that wasn't really close, just ticking the front of the rim. It was a shame that Borich, who looked really good shooting treys, making both of her attempts, didn't get to shoot one late. But in no way did FF "let it go". FF played very smart, but the story of the game was the late treys that didn't fall, the late one and one FTs that did fall, and the 7 Marley offensive rebounds.
