1. North Adams (11-0)
2. Western (9-3)
3. Notre Dame (8-3)
4. Clay (5-8)
5. Manchester (6-6)
6. Peebles (3-7)
7. Fairfield (4-8)
8. Whiteoak (2-9)
9.East
10.New Boston
11. Paint Valley

Whiteoak and Fairfield have easily handled Paint Valley. Peebles just 3-7 but in the bigger school division.....may flip them with Fairfield after comparing scores on highland co press site. North Adams beat Clay by 30. Whiteoak has defeated 8-2 Eastern Brown by 7 points.

I'm not greatly familiar with the records of the SOC teams....

I watched Clay very early in the year get beat bad by North Adams but North Adams has done that to pretty much all their opponents. Anyone have a record for Clay? I was surprised that Notre Dame handled Manchester so easily based on the final score. The Burns girl is very tough to stop. I know Fairfield has had a rough schedule so far losing to McClain, Clinton Massie, Wheelersburg, North Adams-2, Manchester-2 and Fayetteville.

What is Manchester's best win?

Has Notre Dame played Clay or Western?

But unfortunately those were Whiteoak's first 2 games of the season, since then they have gone 0-9.

Clay is now 5-8 (4-4) after a win vs. Eastern tonight, their other 4 wins were vs. Symmes Valley (OT), vs. East, @ Green, and vs. Huntington. They have 3 close losses @ Eastern by 3 in OT, vs. Valley by 1 in OT, and vs. Notre Dame by 5. They were blown out 3 times @ North Adams (by 25), @ South Webster (by 54), and vs. Piketon (by 21). They also lost by 9 @ Western and were upset @ New Boston (by 13).

New Boston is 4-9 (4-5) according to MaxPreps. I think they're missing some games though. I know the Wellston game was moved to the end of January.

It's hard for anyone to since no one local keeps track of the SOC I teams unless it's a big game for the area and no one posts SOC I Standings in any sports other than Football that I know of. I wished the Portsmouth Daily Times would keep track of sports standings for SOC I and SOC II like the Highland County, Chillicothe, and Jackson County's newspapers does and Ironton's newspaper could do the OVC.

1. North Adams (11-0)
2. Western (9-3)
3. Notre Dame (8-3)
4. Clay (5-8)
5. Manchester (7-6)
6. Peebles (3-7)
7. Fairfield (4-8)
8. New Boston (4-9?)
9. Whiteoak (2-9)
10. Paint Valley (1-11)
11. East (?-?)

North Adams 11-0 and 2.5-3 games above Western and Notre Dame clearly makes them #1. Western's win @ Notre Dame puts Western above Notre Dame at #2. I'm willing to switch Clay and Manchester as the season goes on between #4 and #5. The same for Peebles, Fairfield, and New Boston between #6-8. New Boston has beat 2 5-win teams (Clay and Symmes Valley). Whiteoak clearly #9 since they beat an 8-2 D-III Eastern team and killed Paint Valley, and if they can get a win or two, I'd out them in the mix with the 3 teams above them. Not sure who Paint Valley beat but it was a conference win so they beat either a D-III or D-II team so I have them above East at #10. I don't know anything about East, but I think they may have a win this season so I have them at #11.

Vs. Clay, Vs. Symmes Valley, @ West, and @ Green; don't have any games from East so they may have beaten East as well

Is the SE district going to the open format for sectional play? If so do you think someone like south webster or ISJ would pick the northwest sectional over the Athens sec.? Closer distance weaker teams and not have to play waterford
