Southeast District Top 10
Before people start getting critical and defensive of the following rankings I just want to say that I have not watched most of the teams listed below. The rankings are based on a team's schedules and scores. With the most importance given to 1)who have you beat, 2)who have you played, 3)who has beat you, 4)how competitive the game is/was. (example: Fairland losing to Africentric by only 5 points will position them higher in my rankings than beating South Point by 35). Lastly, I am doing this because I am a sick individual who enjoys analyzing game results and the challenge of making tough decisions. I am not biased to certain leagues, conferences, divisions, etc. (Example being I follow the SVC and right now have no SVC teams in the top 10). There is only 1 team that I am missing scores from (Chesapeake), so if anybody could post or send me their schedule with w/l I would appreciate it.

Re: Southeast District Top 10
I'd have Athens #5 right now and moving up....they are 2x district champs and have a first team all-state star in Doseck
I'd guess South Webster just over North Adams
This will get easier as the season rolls along

Ironman, I agree with your thoughts on Athens - they know doubt will move up if they continue their impressive 7 game winning streak. Athens and Alexander are two of the hottest teams over the last few games as they have flat out rolled "good" teams in dominating fashion. One piece of critical information that could possibly affect my rankings is knowing any special circumstances for individual games (injuries, suspensions, illnesses, etc) that would shed light on why a team struggled on a certain night.

Dutchman, you are right. ISJ should have been on the contender list. I saw some of their scores while researching other (mostly tvc/soc) teams but must admit it is hard to stay current. I would greatly appreciate it if you could post their season schedule with results or point me to a website that does.
Ironman, I listened to some of that game on the radio and it sounded like Jackson played their best game of the season. Fairfield union will most likely drop out of rankings.

Well, remove Big Blue from that list, we dropped our third in a row tonight. And seem to have some things to work out. Here's to tournament time.

Re: Southeast District Top 10
I have seen Wheelersburg, North Adams and McClain. All are very impressive but McClain's guards are hard to match up with. The Polley girl is as quick as anyone I've seen and Massie can do it all. Holden and Smith from Wheelersburg are very tough as well, those two teams going up against one another would be a very good matchup. North Adams is huge and that size will create a lot of matchup problems in D4. It seems D4 is just about as good as D3 in the SE District.

Thanks Danicalifornia! The rankings will never be perfect but there will always be hard evidence and not opinion making the decision for me the majority of the time. The one thing I have noticed from analyzing girls basketball is that division plays less of a factor than in boys basketball. Im going to try to put new rankings out each Sunday. I still would love to have ISJ's season schedule with scores.
Below is a list of some of the online sites I have been getting scores and information from - If you know of any others please let me know.
Svcsportszone, trivalleyconferenc.com, highland county press, jackson county daily, columbus dispatch, maxpreps, elitetristatesports, chilicothe gazette, portsmouth daily times, http://www.hsgamecenter.com,
