My source (I'm not there) says the refs have done a good job all game except for the latter half of the 2nd quarter. A good crew.

I've been to several Jackson at Warren games in recent years and have been critical of the Jackson fans for their complaints on calls that I thought were unwarranted. But tonight, I agreed with most of the complaints, especially in that 2nd quarter when Jackson was really making hay and would have been in a double digit lead at halftime and not had 4 starters with 3 at halftime. Jackson was up 25-16 about 2/3 of the way thru the 2nd. I didn't really have a problem with the fouls they called on Jackson(maybe the first 2 on Jenkins, both on offense, may have been the most questionable, and one much more egregious by Buzzard in the 3rd quarter was let go an a FG she scored). The lack of equivalent calls on Warren was my problem. The fouls were 11-4 in the 2nd qtr and 15-10 in the first half. I thought it should have been like 20-15, with Warren having 10 more and Jackson about the same as they had.

In the first 1:20 of the 3rd quarter the horse got out of the barn on Jackson quickly with an 8-0 run as Warren made 3 nice FGs and two more quick fouls were called on Jackson, I think both were 4th fouls. With the foul situation, that was pretty much it as Warren stretched it to 12 at the end of 3.

Freshman Rebekah Green is a very nice player for Jackson. She knows how to play the game and can play the game. She played the whole game except the last minute and got to the 4th qtr with just one foul when all the other starters had 4. Without her Jackson would have been down 20 at half, even with equivalently called fouls!

Kate Ryan got bloodied up in the first half and never returned for Warren.

Jackson will get the calls in the rematch and we will see who will be crying then.

I did not realize Jackson had "carried the league" the last seveal years. Jackson won 2013-2014(Jackson 2-0 over Warren), Tied with Warren 2012-2013 (Jackson 1-1 with Warren) and Warren won 2011-2012(Warren 2-0 over Jackson). Didn't Fist Pumpin' Marietta win 2010-2011?

This post is a little late but I registered just so I could post to this thread. I hate playing at Warren! If you appreciate sport of any kind, you can't be happy with the crap that goes on at a girls basketball game at Warren High school. It's more pathetic than seventies NBA or Big time wrestling. Warren at home is going to win, by hook or by crook. Road starters will be sitting the bench with foul trouble and Warren will be holding, hacking, moving screens and sticking a chicken wing in your face; No whistles on that end. Call a foul a foul both ways and lets watch a ball game and see who wins. As it is, you'll never know if Warren is ever any good or not. I got to wonder where they find the low life little wieners to call a game for them, how pathetic.

ALL SEOAL GAMES ARE ASSIGNED BY A GUY WHO LIVES IN OAK HILL, OHIO.

I'm pretty sure he is sending crews out to all SEOAL LEAGUE games that he feels will be unbiased and call a neutral game.
