Where did Ralph Taylor come from?
I think later on didn't he go up against his old team or was it he coached against Logan later on?

Couldn't find my 1986 yearbook but in the '85 one he was an assistant coach to Head coach Jeff Werry.

Ralph went on to coach at Northridge and came back to play Logan in either the Holiday Classic or a regular game. He was a great coach imo; he demanded alot but got the most out of his players. He took a program struggling to get 2 wins, to the State title game. And after Katie left, he continued to coach some great teams and lead them with fire and intensity. And they had some great success post Katie with him at the helm, and imo, he brought the program back, with the help of Jim Myers; they made some great runs.

Logan BB: Logan 69 Athens 17 Again the Logan girls varsity demontrated their depth. The success of this team is not predicated on the play of one or two players. In my observations an individuals play is supported by all. IMO this team has an opportunity to be really special.

MD= I would have to agree completely. Based on the play and the depth, with 7 of their next 9 games at home, they have a chance to be a special "TEAM" for sure. No slip ups at Ironton or Warren and there is no telling how good they can be. Last few games on the road before the tournament; but I am sue Coach Walsh isnt looking past the next game at all nor will his players.

she plays with alot of heart and hustle. Just needs a little more time to mature. she will do okay down the road. She is competing for playing time with kids that would start varsity in alot of programs. Logan is simply loaded with talent this year.

she has played in every game 3 out of 4 quarters. she has been through a lot(torn acl) icing knee after every game, months of rehab and hasn't even had surgery yet. just think if she had an acl how much quicker she would be. talked to her the other day, she appreciates the kind words.

she is a good player and she will be yp there next year. you dont see 9th grader playing that high. she does not have a ACL so you have to give her created for wanting to play and going what she can do. playing 3 out of the 4 quarters is good. you dont want her to play ever min of the game that would really make her tired and it could hurt her more then she is. if she is not a starter now then when next year comes aroud i know that she will be.
