The south gallia lady rebels 2008-2009

Post by sg rebel23 »

I think that the lady rebels will have a good year, they only lost three seniors last year that were really good players, but they have some girls that can really step it up this year! they still have 3 of last year's starters that includes: Jennifer Sheridan, Jasmine Waugh, and Hailee Swain. Then they have natasha Adkins, Tayler Duncan, Morgan Gilliand, Lindsey johnson ,and two freshmern that could help, which are Chandra Canaday and Courtney Blackburn!!!
Good luck ladies this season and good luck to coach bostic and the staff on hopefully a successful season!!!!! :-D

Does anyone have a schedule for SG?

I am not sure how the season will go but they are a great group of girls. They have speed and some size.

It sounds like they will have another good team this year! I heard that they are trying to make their schedule tougher by adding Portsmouth Clay, New Boston, Beaver Eastern, and Chesapeake. They also have Meigs, Coal Grove(I think Coal Grove was their only reg. season loss), Reedsville Eastern, Sciotiville East and others. Good Luck girls!I hope you keep turning that girl's program around!

So do you know by a reliable source that those are the starters or are you just stating your opinion? From what I saw last year and at their shoot-outs this summer, it sounds like a pretty good starting five to me, as well.Gilliland looked like she has really improved a lot and has been working hard over the summer!Good luck this season girls! I would like to see a District win this season! It looks like youcouls possibly be better than last year but a tougher schedule.Go SG!!!!

I heard one of the girls saying that they have a scrimmage at Rock Hill sometime in early November and they also have a preview sometime soon but that's with OVC, I think.

the lady rebels first scrimmage is november 11th at rockhill and their preview game is the 21st at 6:00. i think it'll be a good year for the rebels. the schedule is pretty tough but i believe that they can do it. last year they proved themselves with an amazing record of 18-2 regular season. good luck ladies we believe in you!!! :aaaaa93
