The Lady Tigers stepped out of conference in hosting the Division III Lady Huntsmen in the Den. The FAB 5 fell to Huntington Ross with the Lady Huntsmen leading at all stops: 11-7 after one, 26-14 at the half, 43-16 after three and the final 51-34.

Huntington Ross improves to 4-5 on the season, while NB drops to 5-3.

Next up for NB is 1/11 as they travel over the hill to face the Clay Lady Panthers 0-10, 0-5. On 1/14 they host the Green Lady Bobcats 2-2, 2-2 and finish the week out of conference at the Valley Lady Indians 1-6 on 1/16. The Lady Huntsmen have the Unioto Lady Sherman 4-5, 3-3 in SVC play at home on 1/12 and go to the Paint Valley Lady Bearcats 6-4, 4-2 on 1/16.

Notre Dame hosts the St.Joe Lady Flyers 1-7, 1-5 on 1/14, then to Fairland High School to play the Trimble Lady Cats 10-1 on the 16th.

Thank you for the corrections! I had picked up the Trimble boys record in error and the Portsmouth Daily Times Winter Sports Preview did not indicate that the Trimble game was at Fairland. Good Luck to your Lady Cats!

The Lady Tigers "FAB5" slipped by the Lady Panthers in Rosemount tonight to improve to 6-4, 5-1. Clay remains winless at 0-11, 0-5.

New Boston led after one at 10-3. Clay led at the half 16-15. NB held the narrow led at 26-24 after three and outscored the Panthers in the final quarter.

The live stream was too far away to pick up any scoring.

The Tigers host the Green Lady Bobcats 4-2, 4-2 tomorrow in the Den and go to meet the Minford Lady Falcons 3-8 on 1/16. Clay will host the East Lady Tartans 0-8, 0-4 tomorrow and travel up to Eastern Pike 3-9 on 1/16 to face the Lady Eagles.

In a battle of the "Cats" tonight, the visiting Green Lady Bobcats defeated the Lady Tigers.

Green led at all stops: 17-12 after one, 34-18 at the half, 42-23 after three and the final 60-31.

Shelby Easter led NB in scoring, followed by Cadence Williams 9, Cassie Williams 4 and Kenzie Whitley 2.

Green improves to 5-2, 5-2, while the Lady Tigers slip to 6-5, 5-2.

New Boston travels out to Minford 3-8 on Saturday. Green heads to Chesapeake 9-3 on the 18th.

The Lady Tigers faced the Minford Lady Falcons today in Minford. Minford led at all stops: 12-3 after one, 20-11 at the half, 38-17 after three and the final 49-31.

Scoring for the Lady Tigers: Kenzie Whitley 16, Cadence Williams 8 and Shelby Easter 7.

Minford improves to 4-9, 3-7 in SOCII. NB goes to 6-6, 5-2 in SOC1.

New Boston hosts the St.Joe Lady Flyers 2-8, 2-5 in SOC1 on 1/21. Minford has the Waverly Lady Tigers 9-2, 5-2 in SOCII.

The Western Lady Indians came to the Den in a makeup game and pulled out the win over the homestanding Lady Tigers.

Scoring by quarters: Tied at 13 after one, Western led at the half 22-21, after three 39-28 and the final 46-37.

Western improves their record to 3-8 overall and 3-4 in SOC1 play. New Boston drops to 6-7 and 5-3 in SOC1.

Scoring for the Lady Tigers: Shelby Easter 9, Cadence Williams, Kenzie Whitley and Dylan O'Rourke each had 8 while Cassie Williams had 4.

Next up for NB is 1/21 as they host the Ironton St.Joe Lady Flyers 2-8, 2-5. Western heads to Green to tangle with the Lady Bobcats 5-2, 5-2 on the 21st as well.

New Boston and St.Joe played a close game from start to finish with the Lady Tigers pulling out the victory. NB ended a three game losing streak with the win.

NB evens their record at 7-7, 6-3, while SJ falls to 2-11, 2-6.

The Lady Tigers led after one 10-7 and at the half 19-17. SJ led after three at 29-25 and the final Lady Tigers on a last second shot 34-33.

The "FAB 5" of New Boston had defeated the Lady Panthers 57-52 by on 12/6 in the Den. This time around in Cheseapeake the Lady Panthers returned the favor.

Chesapeake improves to 11-6, 7-5 in OVC play, while New Boston goes too 7-8, 6-3 in SOC 1 play.

Notre Dame, the #4 team in the AP Poll in Division IV and leading the SOC1 came into the Den today and handed the Lady Tigers the defeat.

The Lady Titans led the entire game: 26-6 after one, 38-14 a the half, 55-19 after three and the final 63-31. ND had defeated NB earlier in the year 71-27.
