Jeeps win in an ugly one 35-26 against Symmes Valley. Refs weren’t amazing something you have to learn to play with though. Jeeps didn’t play to great fouls were trouble once again with the older Claxon fouling out. Still won, but very ugly

South Webster vs Waverly might give us a better idea of where the Jeeps are this year. Webster has taken care of business so far but they've won the games they are supposed to early in the season. This will be a good measuring stick for how far they've come this year. Good luck to both teams.

Jeeps 42-57 Waverly. Jeeps played three good quarters got it cut Waverlys lead down to 2 going into the 4th then completely gave up. Turnovers was a big issue couldn’t handle the pressure well, plus tons of missed layups. All this cost the Jeeps the game. This game showed the Jeeps what to fix and what the need to work on for big games. Minford is their next game Monday (Going to be a test). Claxons combined for 26.

Waverly is an excellent team this year. The fact that the Jeeps cut their lead down to 2 in the 4th is a great sign. Just the little things are all they need to fix.

Excellent is pushing it. They're solid, but the two good teams (not even excellent ones) beat them by 17 and 31.

We'll see where they are at on 1/5 and 1/8 when they host Minford and West.

Have to agree with Dani on this one. They probably would be middle of the pack the the SE DIV group right now. That being said, I think the margin was much worse last year so I think the Jeeps are trending in the right direction.

IMO Dusty doesn't get enough credit for how good of a coach he is. Wheelersburg good again this year - just stuck with Fairland or Portsmouth in their district.

100%

A winning coach and a solid program year in and year out. Lots of young contributors on this current squad too so they should be strong for the coming years.

Whatcha have to say now Mr.Bruce, I know it’s Waverly, but teams can get better as the year goes on, truth is we have one of the best players in southern Ohio, I know you like to talk about how Waverly has bad losses, but they now have a 10-2 record atop of the SOC and have a nice little winning streak. My bad. I just had watched them look tremendously bad against good teams and didn’t buy in, so I was obviously wrong after watching them twice. Nice win tonight and a nicer winning streak.

I’m just proud that your first post was about girls basketball. I hope you post here more often to make things more interesting.

I’m old and tired and everything runs together….I did see Waverly play vs Jackson but just can’t remember anyone standing out. Was just wondering. Cant even really remember the game except that we lost and seemed like huge turnover numbers and we shot free throws horribly and lost a fairly close game. We are 2-10

But I could be way off lol

Whole team had a very slow start, so makes sense, she’s averaging somewhere near 21 and 10 while shooting 60 something percent from the field.

I can agree to this, she’s not the greatest pure basketball player,
But has to be one of the best pure athletes to come through southern Ohio in a long time, super good track athlete and was a 1st team all district soccer player the 1 year she played I believe, our girls team is solid, and they can be pretty fun to watch, she is definitely the motor of this team and a super efficient player, doesn’t take many bad shots.

Been MIA for a little Jeep girls have picked up three consecutive losses, but managed to turn it around tonight Claxons combined for 20ish Campbell threw up crazy shots and couldn’t miss. Pretty good considering they just lost to Minford last week on a makeup game. Minford has some good players in Enz, Davis, and Carter congrats to the Jeeps for getting the train back on the tracks.
