VC might just be getting a gift. And she'll solve the issue of no size to match up with the opponents bigs.

if Anyone can start the recruiting process it will be coach Bentley. Circeville had there transfers and so didn’t Sheridan. Someone is joining vc I guarantee you that

Any information on where transfer may be coming from? Heard rumblings of an Alexander Spartan heading to McArthur..

“A stud” well she’s not from Alexander 😜 Heck, I heard rumors last yr that McConnell girl (Circleville) would be playing at VC for 2019 season. Bet that source wishes she did!!

Have not heard that. And Sure would be shocking if McConnell or an Alexander kid transferred.. Crazier things have happened though! I will say that my source told me that the kid Bentley is getting will “get them over the hump next year” and “possibly even to Columbus”....

Just watched Sheridan beat a pretty decent Warren team last night. Great physical, defensive game. As far as I could tell, Sheridan returns all but 1 of the rotation plaers. They will be a force again next season. So D-2 in the southeast district will be solid again next year.

No Alexander players have been brought up from anyone I've spoken with. I've heard Ports. ND and Minford but I doubt there is any truth to it. Only time will tell.

Congrats to the Lady Vikings of Vinton County on what I would consider an outstanding season, ending with a 19-5 record. I saw all of the expectations of quite a few of the fans and supporters of this years team. Being that I was not always around this area in the past few seasons, I asked one of the fans of the Vikings just how far in the State Tournament that the Lady Vikings had ever gone. I was told that they had never won a District Final, but that they were very hopeful that they would do so this year. In reading some posts from this past season, I'm not sure that anything but an undefeated season would have been acceptable. I know nothing about a "stud" or a transfer coming in, if it happens, it's nothing more than what a few others are also trying to do. If winning a District Final is "getting over the hump", and it very well may be, then believe me when I say that 99% of the time that the next two games, the Regional Semi and Regional Finals are even a bigger 'hump". We won't even talk about the Final 2 games at the State, that's a different animal in it's self. I just think that at times, we all maybe expect a little too much from the kids that we know and are fans of, especially when there are other very good teams and kids as well. I know that its very early, but good luck to the Lady Vikings next season.

If some agreement on playing time can be reached it's a done deal.

Thats always a good idea?? Sally will come but she has to play and you need to use her a certain way. Seems like VC likes to run and gun, what if the "big" girl cant run and play that style. You going to change everything for one kid? Does walking it up play to the strengths of the other girls or are you going to cater to one particular parent. Just wondering??

Agree to work hard and you will possibly earn playing time but not guarantee.

If she is good enough, you change everything. Good luck to the Tigers- finally going to be tested?? Can't wait to see how they respond.

Negotiations continue. The Covid set it back a while, but I think a playing time agreement will be forthcoming and that will seal the deal.
