What happened to Monroe Central's star transfer?

Post by MetalheadGamer87 »

Haven't seen her listed in box scores the last few games? Is she hurt?

That's probably the answer. One of the best underclassmen around.

You'd think an appeal is possible but some schools have to wait for those answers.

They’re doing great. I hope the community gets behind them.

Will she become eligible or is her season done? I don’t know the rules

A nice win over Wheeling Central 62-60 and Isaly apparently didn't play.
Impressive they beat WCC. Hope Monroe Central gets her back in lineup but hats off for the dub.
Anyone close to program know if she's returning?

That is a huge win for Monroe Central and it muddies the water quite a bit in the OVAC. The standings on their site are behind a little but this win would certainly move them up although Fort Frye should be Linsly tomorrow and that will get them some points. Next week Monroe Central has games against Ferry and Shenandoah and Fort Frye plays Wheeling Central. Somebody gets left out so Next week is huge for who makes the tournament and the seeding going into it.
Posted Standings
Wheeling Central 8 2 10 580 58.000
Shenandoah 13 1 14 776 55.429
Martins Ferry 14 3 17 924 54.353
Fort Frye 12 2 14 696 49.714
Monroe Central 13 3 16 794 49.625

I know the person who does the standings. It updates every Sunday evening. You're right dboy about a good team going to get left out of OVAC.

I don't see any games being played tonight so it looks like MC will head to Fort Frye in the first round of the OVAC. Probably an up hill battle with or without Isaly.

Why wouldn't Islay play? I think it'll be a good game either way. Great match before the district tournament. Feel this game will go down to the wire. Good luck both teams

I understood from above that she is out the second half due to transfer. Maybe I misunderstood it.

Same with the Layne girl that transferred from Fairland back to Chesapeake. Shes having to sit out the 2nd half of the season.

Does that mean 11 games, like, half the season? Then game 23 she can play?

From my understanding , it's half the games of the amount of games that are on the schedule at the beginning of the year. So if you have 20 games scheduled, you can play in 10 games. And it's the first ten games that you can play in. So if one of those first ten games gets canceled , you can play up until that tenth game. Once you play in your 10th game, you're out the rest of the season. No matter how many games are left on the schedule, no matter how many games get canceled or added after you're 10th game your done. And you're out all the postseason as well
