New Boston Glenwood's JV team is 1-1-1.

The Tigers won against Coal Grove 41-35, tied Sciotoville East 18-18 and lost to Clay 28-52. The Southeastern game was varsity only at Paint Valley and Ironton St.Joseph, Green and Notre Dame did not have JV teams.

They sometimes tie if they are only playing 2 quarters. Ironton doesn't have enough girls for a JV team? Sp only has 7 girls for a team .Are they just playing one sport all year? Or is it the coaches pressuring them to do only one sport? What is wrong with kids these days that they don't play more than one sport?

Why is never hardly any mention of the JV scores in the Ironton Tribune and Herald Dispatch? These young kids I am sure want to see their names in the paper too. The coaches need to get them some write ups as well.

wemufans.....you are correct. The New Boston Tigers and Sciotoville East Tartans only played two quarters and they left it as the tie.
