How is Your League Doing?

Post by MightyOaksFan »

What is your league's record in the tournament so far?

SOC Division 2: 2-3

SVC: 4-2

Paint Valley defeated Westfall, so the SVC is 3-1 against non league opponents.

6 sectional final games on Saturday, could only have one team come out though(Adena)

SVC Champion Unioto plays Chillicothe, while runner up Huntington plays a tough Peebles team that they only beat by 4 earlier in the season.

Not my league but I see the TVC is not doing to well. 8 seed over a 1 seed, VC loses. Guess all those wins in the TVC didn't prepare them for life in the D2 brackets.

It's nice to see fighting falcon back at it as the official TVC basher. You really ought to seek some professional help to get you through your resentment, jealousy, or whatever your little obsession is with the TVC.

I don't see the TVC being weak in girls basketball. If that were the case, the last place team in the SEOAL should easily handle the last place team in the TVC. That was not the case.

Personally, I think VC peaked @ the wrong time. They had to to win the league. The TVC has played very well outside the league this year. NY beat Logan Elm, which split with Circleville which beat Alexander. Alex split with NY. VC beat NY twice. VC lost to Waterford. NY beat Waterford.............To sum it up, it was a crazy year in the TVC, not a weak one.

Also, I believe so far the TVC is 6-7.

Is Wellston still in the tournament?

I thought maybe they beat someone by one point to go to the sectional final??

PIONEER VALLEY CONFERENCE

To start with, most have dual membership with the OVAC

Monroe Central 17-3 won the OVAC 2-A tournament
Shenandoah upsets Monroe Central in D3 Sectional
River (2-19) comes within a whisker of upsettting 18-2 St. John Central
in the D4 sectional
Caldwell wins District berth, upsets Bellaire St. John
Frontier wins District berth, beating Beallsville 64-50.
Fort Frye lost in Sectional
Buckeye Trail pounds Steubenville Central in d3 Sectional.

so, all in all, PVC is 6-3 (i think) so far.

MOF beat me to it about the SOC II with four teams in the district finals.

BTW...Wellston is out of the tournament for the poster that asked. The only TVC-Ohio team left is Alexander, which plays Oak Hill on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the district final at Waverly.

So, TVC moves ahead with:

Alex

Fed Hock

Waterford

Hopefully, all three advance, but I foresee at least two of three moving on......

it was tough for the OVC having 2 of their better teams in South Point and Chesapeake playing each other right off the bat
