Are those Danny Sheridan lines I92?

A lot of money would be bet on Fairfield Union I think ... an (18-2) team getting +4 ... lol

Might want to move it to a 'pick em' to balance the betting.

So your saying take South Point +12?

I92 ... How do I get that bet in buddy? Put me down for $20.00 on the Pointers would ya? lol

We'll both probably be in Alex that night - just meet me at the concession stand so I can collect my winnings.

I don't give much creedence to these point spreads. Has nothing to do with my picks. But the upset special is the Jackson/SP game.

To steal a phrase, "It's basketball 30." Anything can happen. That's why they play the game!

I have to agree with that notion Fortdawg ... lol ... Heck, it doesn't even have to be Athens by 4 ... I'll take Athens by 1.

I surely hope the Athens fans/students put the girls game 1st and make sure they get out to Alexander Thursday - the scheduling thing with Athens/Meigs boys wasn't the best idea in the world ... I know there weren't a lot of other options, but it still is not cool ... Your gonna have people that use finances as an excuse not to go to both, some people are not gonna want to drive out to Albany and then back to Athens - its just a fact a lot of folks are only gonna choose one game to attend even though the boys game was pushed back to 8:30.

I've done my part though ... I actually talked a friend who goes to a lot of Athens games with me (boys basketball, football & baseball) to head out to Alexander to finally see a girls game ... The last girls game he attended was 20 years ago when Katie Smith played for Logan ... lol

We scouted them against Canal on Friday and they had a big crowd---I expect a lot of that crowd to follow an 18-2 team down the road to Alex. It'll be a fun atmosphere for high school ball so I hope we put together a good game for you. I really appreciate the work you do showcasing the TVC teams and kids.

No problem Fortdawg ... A little dedication, some hard work and my love of the Bulldogs must have come from my middle school football coaches ...

Coach Gillmore, coach Fortney - hard nosed tough guys who 'tried' to teach us the game of football ... I'm still trying to figure out what coach Gannon taught us - I may have to get back to ya on that one.

But in all honesty, I know a lot of folks like what they see from the Athens sidelines this year in terms of coaches ... Both the boys and the girls, head coaches and assistants ... Not sure we could have a better staff at the helms.
