Valley over West by 10 or so, West girls could'nt buy a shot. Very physical game both ways, and fun to watch.

How many attempts? A crazy number of made 3's

How many did they hit in the first quarter versus Smithville in the state semis? 8? One of the best quarters of longball shooting ever.

SHOCKER:

ALEXANDER - 40
WELLSTON - 39

That was Alexander's first victory of the season! (1-14)

It's just unfathomable that they were with a chance to tie under a minute against 13-1 Jackson but lose to Alexander and Meigs who were outscored by the Ironladies something like 131-30 (78-19 over Meigs and 53-11 over Alexander)

From ohsaa.org

Most Three Point Goals in One Quarter
18 Oak Hill vs. Smithville (03/18/2004)

gives me chills just thinking about it. That was crazy. The thing is Smithville may have been the better team, but when we came out like that it was all over eight minutes into the game.

Losing to a team that was 0-14 is kind of unfathomable really. Having Davis & Mcmanaway alone should have been enough to pull out a win - especially at home.

TRIMBLE WAS 1-13.

CONGRATS TO THE CATS AND SPARTANS ... I GUESS THEY PROVED THE OLD ADAGE ABOUT 'ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN' CAN RING TRUE.
