Surprised to see the Unioto girls get no mention, especially after beating the #8 team in D2 and still being undefeated.

Surprised to see Waterford behind Eastern. Stunned. Even thought they have a couple of losses they have played a much, much tougher schedule which included D1 and D11 schools.

I was also very surprised to see no mention for the Lady shermans. The more surprising part is that Indian Hill is ranked where they are depsite the loss to the shermans.

This may be the only time I ever agree with Athens78. I, too, am stunned to see Waterford behind Eastern. Can anyone provide their schedules? I'm not certain, but I think Waterford has played a much tougher schedule than Eastern. Could be wrong, though.

It appears that Eastern has one (notice the (1)) voter that considers them the best team in the state. That lone #1 vote is good for several points. Waterford on the other hand has no #1 votes....

GW is absolutely correct. One biased media outlet can throw things awry and skew the poll. That is why anyone who puts much weight into these polls needs to have their head examined. What do the newspaper hacks know, anyway????

No offense intended to bulldog93 or keysersoze78, of course ;-) ;-) ;-)
