These two sectional champs travel to face eachother at Jackson H.S. for the third time this year Clay won the first match by 2 points score was 39-37. Eastern won the second match by 3 with score being 47-44. This is going to be a good match. I can't wait to watch this game! Go Panthers!!!

Clay was without starting forward Keely Craft for both contests and without starting guard Emily Spriggs for the game at Eastern. Both are back and playing well. Clay by 8.

Eastern Pike was without Rachel Staker the first time and she had only played in 4 or 5 games when they played the second time. She could make a big difference in this one....

This should be a close game, no matter who wins!! Since they both know each other well, all they have to do is play good defense and have No turnovers to come out on top. If the regular scorers get stopped, what a game it will be!!! Good luck ladies!!!!

I was wondering if they are going to clear the gyms on these girls game? I'd like to catch the first & watch you all play tomorrow. I know thet did not clear it out the night Webster girls played but they did after the Oak Hill vs. burg boys game.

They usually don't clear the gym after girls games. I guess they think that their are not as many fans that go to the girls games so they will be okay by allowing people to stay for both games. Sometimes this is the case and sometimes it isn't but I am glad they usually don't. I get to see more basketball for less money!

I heard Eastern only has 1 senior, so next season should be outstanding!

Clay had no seniors, so they will be a tough game next year. Should be an exciting season again. Good luck to the Panthers and congrats to the Eastern girls for a successful year.
