St Joe 45 Portmouth Notre Dame 43

Post by Malcontent »

Might be the first game the Titans have lost at home in who knows when. I didn't keep any stats but I would guess the Flyers high point player was Amber Neal.

If your comment read " We beat ND at their place last year " I wouldn't have said a single word as you did beat us ,fair and square . IMO no need for the " We beatem' 20 " comment. as an ND fan it appeared you were attempting to disparage our team and crow about the margin of victory . that's all.

Malcontent -- Yes Neal led the Flyers in scoring , she had 15 . Miller had 9 or 11 I think. ND was up 42-39 late and had several chances to go up 5 but missed on three or four straight possessions. ND played nearly as well as can , foul trouble by one of the starters caused her to miss the whole 3rd Q ( picked up 4th at the end 2Q ) and that hurt a bunch as a freshman with little experience in our 6th man , but she filled in really well and all things considered ND played pretty well. We lost 5 or 6 seniors, St Joe brought back everyone and the transfer from green is now eligible . B Pierron was big with 20 to lead the Lady Titans .

How would you know Oaf are you Catholic, I'm certainly not!

Thanks Dan! I thought ND started fouling a little too soon at the end but then I'm not a coach. The St Joe girls still only loses one girl from this team as they are very young.

You added to your post before I could properly respond! Hell yes I'm Catholic! Isn't that what the Pope is? I have my rosary beads right here, somewhere.....
