New Boston Glenwood 35

New Boston had beaten Green earlier in the year 70-50, but this time around it was the Lady Bobcats who pulled out the victory in Franklin Furnace. Both the Lady Tigers and Lady Bobcats are tied for second place in the SOC1 behind the Notre Dame Lady Titans.

Green improves to 12-4 overall and 9-2 in conference play. New Boston slips to 12-6 and 9-2.

New Boson hosts the Valley Lady Indians 4-10 on Saturday. The Lady Bobcats travel across the river to face the Raceland Lady Rams 4-10 on 1/21.

Scoring for the Lady Tigers: Lexus Oiler 15, Sammy Oiler 7, Whitley 6, Easter 4, Hickman 3.

Scoring for the Lady Bobcats: Knapp 15, Kimbler 13, Sweeney 8, Brown 8, Blevins 4.

Valley 45

New Boston defeated non league opponent Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Tigers improve to 13-6 overall and stand at 9-2 in SOC1 play. The Lady Indians are now 4-12 and 1-9 in SOCII.

New Boston hosts the Ironton St.Joe Lady Flyers 8-8, 6-5 on 1/23. Valley has the SOC1 Notre Dame Lady Titans 14-1, 11-0 on Monday at home and the SOCll Eastern Lady Eagles 6-12, 0-9 on the 23rd, also at home.

Anyone know if new Boston coach had to sit out a game after her blow up at Green?

Poor performance from a head coach from what I heard.

New Boston led the entire game, 9-2 after one, 23-7 at the half, 31-16 after three and the final 39-27.

NB improves to 14-6 overall and 10-2 within the league. SJ drops to 7-9 and 6-6.

The Lady Tigers next host the league leading Notre Dame Lady Titans 14-1, 11-0 on 1/30 and host the Western Lady Indians 2-16, 2-9 on 2/6. The Lady Flyers are at Ohio Valley Christian Lady Defenders 1-9 (as of 1/11) on 1/27, at Ashland Rose Hill Lady Royals 7-7 on 1/28 and finish the week at the Clay Lady Panthers 3-14, 3-9 o 1/30. St.Joe closes out their regular season hosting the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings 5-11, 4-7 on 2/6.

From what I heard there is better ways of "standing up for her girls"

But I will leave bit at that since I wasn't there.

Notre Dame clinched the SOC1 title with the victory over the Lady Tigers tonight. Congrats! The Lady Titans led 19-6 after one, 24-15 at the half, 44-27 after three and the final 47-31.

ND improves to 18-1, 13-0, while NB falls to 14-7, 10-3.

Notre Dame next has the Ironton "Tacketts Body Shop Shootout" on Saturday vs the Ashland Lady Kittens 11-6. On 2/3 the Lady Titans host the Minford Lady Falcons 8-10 and close out the regular season hosting the Green Lady Bobcats 13-5, 10-2 on 2/6.

#6 seed New Boston Glenwood 14-7 plays #11 seed Ironton St.Joe 10-10 on February 15th at 2:45 at Northwest High School in the Divison IV sectional tournament. Good Luck Lady Tigers!

The Western at New Boston Glenwood game was not played today.

New Boston's next game is Monday, February 10 at home vs. the Lawrence County, Ky. Lady Bulldogs 13-12.

On senior night, the Tigers played host to the Lady Bulldogs of Lawrence Co., Ky.

Lawrence County improves to 14-12 with the win, while the Lady Tigers slip to 14-8 overall.

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs: Feltner 26, Ratliff 20, Heal 12, Ward 7, Webb 6, Ward 2 and Hammond 2.

Scoring for the Lady Tigers: Lexus Oiler 18, Hickman 13, Easter 10, Sammy Oiler 9, Whitley 9, O'Rourke 2 and Williams 2.

Next up for Lawrence County are home dates with Paintsville on the 13th and Tolsia, W.Va. on the 14th.

The Lady Tigers, the #6 seed in the Divison IV Tournament, plays #11 seed Ironton St.Joe 10-10 on 2/15 at Northwest High School.

New Boston improves to 15-8, while St.Joe ends their season at 10-12.

NB led at all stops: 13-8 after one, 21-16 at the half, 30-22 after three and the final 33-32. The game was tied at 30-30 with 3:26 to go.

The Lady Tigers advance to the District Tournament vs the Trimble Lady Cats 18-5 on Saturday, 2/22 at 1:45 in Jackson. Trimble advanced defeating Southern 68-46.

Trimble 44
New Boston Glenwood 34

New Boston's successful season at 15-9 came to an end today in Jackson at the hands of the Trimble Lady Cats. The game was close for three quarters and Trimble pulled away in the fourth outscoring the Lady Tigers 11-6. Congrats Trimble!

Scoring by quarters: 12-11 Trimble after one, 21-19 New Boston at the half, 33-28 Trimble after three and the final Trimble 44-34.

New Boston Glenwood's Lexus Oiler scored her 1,000 point on a free throw with 3:57 to go in the first quarter. Congratulations Lexus!

Scoring is to follow.

Trimble 20-4 now advances to play the Peebles Lady Indians 20-3 on February 27 at 8:15 at Jackson High School in the District Final.

Prayers for the Trimble player that was injured in the game.
