Yep you are right, I was told that Sunday also, but I don't include Perry County in my area.

Didn't realize she had fourty. Foul trouble plagued both teams. Plus side is Peebles got to play alot of players. A couple who played very well. Didn't think the bench was gonna be that good.

From what I see Peebles and Portsmouth ND are the Top D4's, if Kennedy stays on the job at Manchester they could seriously be in contention also. Waterford is Waterford, just don't know if they have enough this year.

If Peebles can continue to develope the two big girls on Reserves, they could really help come tournament time. Can't coach 6' or bigger. The bird girl is beginning to learn to use the glass and can block anything in the circle. At 6'2" or so she could make a difference for minutes or foul trouble. Same with the Workman girl at 5'10 to 6'. Both are learning some skills. When Payton moves up to high school next year and joins Justice,Gray and company I think they can be at their best.

Bird showed a lot of potential last July, specially when she played up with 16U. She is still growing into that body and look for her to really improve by end of season and after another summer could be a beast next year. Johnson is a Stud, one of the top 8th graders in the SCOH area, a Top 5 kid overall. What will be key for Peebles is if they can stay healthy and continue to play defense like the do.

Gray has stepped up and played some great ball the last few games. The bench played a huge role in the game at N.A. Holiday Classic when the starters got in foul trouble. To make another nice tourney run, everyone has to come to play, be willing to shoot to take some pressure off of Justice. Harlee Wilkinson is coming along after not getting to play last year. She will be tougher toward the end of the season!

Next year, possibly adding the Johnson girl from 8th on Varsity will make them a very athletic squad. Hopefully the bigs will keep working on getting tougher. I would take a Justice, Gray, Johnson, Moore, Workman, line up with Bird and others coming off the bench anyday.

I think so too. Most length we've had in ages ,if ever. The Johnson girl is a player.
