Vinton County vs. Olentangy Liberty

Post by LeftHanded »

We have an early tip off today.

Midway through the 2nd, score is 17-16 Vinton County..

Olentangy Liberty looks like a pretty solid squad. Only 4 losses on the season (including a 15 point loss to #2 in division I Dublin-Coffman).
Would be a great win for the Vikings nearing the end of the season

VC should be battle tested come tournament time! Let’s see if it helps out.

The tough schedule is always the best recipe. I respect vinton for taking on this schedule. Who do they play next?

Nelsonville-York is the only team team that will provide any sort of a challenge, unless I'm badly mistaken.

The Bucks beat VC at VC and are hungry for an outright league title. Don't think for a second that VC is going to come into Ben Wagner Gymnasium and have an easy game. :)

If so, will they keep the press on late in the game when they're way up? Asking for a friend.

I would think VC would be favored--but NY is tough place to play.

Nelsonville stopped a 32 Vinton County tvc win streak.. also it was a 3 year home win streak . Both Coach Cassady and coach Bentley are Logan boys and are friends but I bet you friends are over that night . Bentley will press regardless of score

They actually haven't been pressing as much the last few games. That's gotta be the ONLY reason they are in a slump. lol
