Did not play there best last night against Alexander. Very well rounded team, very good guard play, plenty of size down low. A couple kids can really light it up from downtown, easy to see why they have the record that they have. Oak Hill not expected to even be here at this point, having to beat two higher seeded teams, witch they were able to do. Probably an up hill battle for the Lady Oaks against the Lady Warriors, but they are playing with a lot of confidence right now.

It's a new season and both teams are undefeated. Game on. Safe travels one and all.

Confidence is a powerful state of mind. Lady Oaks will need to make it a 5 on 5 game and continue to get good bench play from the rotation used. Are playing with a lot of confidence and have really developed a team unity over the last several weeks. Have plenty of talent and I believe are capable of CLIMBING THAT HILL. Look forward to seeing how it plays out. Eastern Brown is the real deal and worthy of the #1 seed. Should be a dandy.

Should be a good game. For Eastern Leonard and Pickeral are always tough and Scrappy. Gloth in the paint is s handful. They play alot of players and come at you in waves. Much like North Adams girls. Very well coached , tenacious and never think they are out of the game.
I have not seen the lady oaks play but know the program is always strong. Good luck and safe travels.

There are some matchups in this game that concern me quite a bit. I can remember back when Richard Kisor was the girls coach at EB, Oak Hill and EB would go at it tooth and nail, about every year at tournament time. Oak Hill and Eastern Brown both had some outstanding teams back a few years as well, and both more years than not would come out of District play and advance to Regional Play.

Coach Pickeral coaches much like Kisor. You know they will play hard till the final buzzer goes off.

These two have faced a time or two the last 25 years.

I’ll take EB this time around

As much as I hate to say, that just might be a pretty safe pick.

EB is suppose to win the game being the #1 seed and Lady Oaks being the #12 seed. Oak Hill, however, is capable of winning the game. Lady Oaks are solid on defense. Especially when the player responsible for the ball gets up tight on the ball handler and makes it difficult to see the rim and floor. Lady Oaks will have to leave it all on the floor game night, limit number of clean looks EB shooters get of the rim and will need to stay active/aggressive on offense with the scoring coming from 3 or more scoring options. Several girls with years of travel ball experience, team sports experience and an elite athlete make the Lady Oaks capable of winning the game. Mind set and being fundamentally sound will be key. I believe the Lady Oaks can CLIMB THE HILL and get the win.

I hope that you are right in everything that you have said, there is no doubt in my mind that the Lady Oaks will leave everything that they have out on the court.

Without a doubt this will be a bar burner. These two squads have great traditions and come from a couple of very good leagues. The heart and desire will be on full display for us to enjoy.
With that being said,I believe turnovers and foul shooting will decide this one. Both squads have a couple of leaders who will decide this game. I think Miss Pickeral will decide this game. Eastern 43- Oak Hill 37. Regardless awesome that these two get together and congrats on great seasons.
