Both teams played their hearts out today. Very proud of our Lady Oaks team. Grew so much as a team over the season to get within 30 seconds of winning a district championship over #1 seed and strong Eastern Brown team. Congrats to the Lady Warriors.

Congrats to both squads. Gutsie play from both Squads. Good luck to our neighbors the Lady Warriors in the Sweet 16 game vs your Neighbors the Lady Devils.

Without a doubt this will be a bar burner. These two squads have great traditions and come from a couple of very good leagues. The heart and desire will be on full display for us to enjoy.
With that being said,I believe turnovers and foul shooting will decide this one. Both squads have a couple of leaders who will decide this game. I think Miss Pickeral will decide this game. Eastern 43- Oak Hill 37. Regardless awesome that these two get together and congrats on great seasons.

Hoopie, surprisingly Pickerill didn't really hurt OH, she hit a 3 early on but OH played pretty good defense against her. Prine hit three 3's in the first half, but she wasn't getting those open 3's the 2nd half. Leonard kind of took it upon herself just as she did against Alexander in the District Semifinals, to drive to the basket and was getting fouled in the process. I know she hit two 1 an 1's for 4 pts each time with OH holding a 3 pt lead, she then hit the go ahead basket with 5.8 seconds left on the clock, Then 2 more foul shots with 1.2 seconds left in the game. I know the great games that these two teams have had in the past, and probably will have in the future. Good luck to EB on advancing to the Regional Semifinals against North Adams, should be an outstanding ballgame.

It was a heart breaker for the lady oaks..they were right at that point where they could taste victory and it got taken away in last few seconds of game..you couldn’t ask for a better tournament basketball game to watch and shows that it’s never over till final buzzer..and I want to add after the game all parents/fans on both sides stood up and clapped for each girl that got announced for each team and actually seen some eastern brown fans go down on court and talk and hug some of the oak hill girls after they came out of locker room..GREAT GAME
