Berne is very tall and lanky. They are all about consistent, hard on-ball pressure and they’ll pack it in to force you to beat them with the three if need be. They have some depth and very rarely will they turn it over. They’ve been on a tear in the tournament. They probably won’t make it out of the region (just don’t think even if they beat Ft Frye they’ll make it past PND/Peebles) but they are a strong team. First regional appearance ever for the Lady Rockets.

Fort is a great 3 point shooting team. Fort also loves to press. Could be a very good game.

My guess is FF by 10. Berne strikes me as a “good, not great” team. Aside from height, they have good chemistry. The other interesting thing with BU this year is their coach was the same one who took Berne’s boys to the Convo last year for regionals. Likely meaningless for this game, but an interesting note about his transitions between the girls and boys sides of hoops over the years.

Kinda cool considering Fort Fryes Coach was an elite boy’s coach before he moved over to girls. He actually coached both a couple seasons.

On the radio last week he said 34 years, 37 seasons he's coached high school varsity.

My friend at Witten's told me nothing stops the Fort. Good luck Lady Cadets.

Notre Dame is ranked 2nd in the state but I think this is a tougher game.

I’m guessing a team with a pulse could stop them and they haven’t played one of those yet.

I missed Vinton County they were 17-7. South finished with a losing record.
