Logan Lady Chiefs 1992

Post by Ironman92 »

Loganlocas has their tournament games on YouTube. I’ve watched a decent bit of all of them.

5’10 Tami Hampshire 12 pts a game and deadly from 12 ft with great post moves.

5’11 Tez Kraft 12 pts s game, long and athletic

5’6 Cook 8 ppg great outside shooter

5’11 Melissa Cooper....15 points, 10 assists and 8 rb a game....holy hell a matchup nightmare with probably a 6’3 wingspan and a lefty

I haven’t even mentioned one of the greatest female basketball players of all-time. 5’10 Katie Smith 30 points, 8 reb, 5 assists. She could’ve scored 50 ppg and I don’t think it’s debatable. Her strength was unmatched, her body control unmatched, jumping ability was that of an athletic 5’10 male point guard, shooting elite and mental game unmatched.

I don’t think her heart rate surpassed 80 until the regional finals when her teammates were struggling and it was just time for her to take over. I think she went for 32/8/5 on about 11/13 shooting.

The games against SE District teams were lol.

They beat a 23-0 team in the reg semis by 16, then beat 24-0 team in reg finals by double digits then beat a 25-0 team in state semis easily.

Pretty high level high school girls hoops. State Champ game over 12,400 people

Cooper always seemed to know where and when you were going to throw the ball.
