Believe PV will most likely win this league and make a deep tourney run.

I agree PV will be solid. They have kept getting better every year. Adena may be the favorite. Won it last year and has everybody back I think. Huntington last two years has had the player of the year but that hasn't really translated?? Maybe this year they can get some wins to go with the POY.
SE graduated a ton. Could be a long year for them.

Didn't Adena win a Gold ball last season and return their entire team this year?

They didn't win the gold ball, but do return everybody. One thing of note almost whole team is still playing volleyball. Lol.

Adena not only returns everyone, but adds talent in the Soph & Freshman class. Adena's best years are still ahead of them.

League is 6-2 in the non-conference right out of the gates and that’s without Adena suiting up yet

Huntington has a tough one tonight with Portsmouth West, but I’m feeling pretty good that the league teams can win at least 4 of the 5 remaining games this week

Before the SVC beats their chest about non conference wins, please dive in a little further to see who they are playing.
SE beat a team by 20 plus, lol.

The last 3 years in the non-league
31-34
31-46
30-42

I think it’s okay to be excited about beating some bad teams when the league has clearly struggled to do that in recent seasons

You’re right in some ways, because that Southeastern score was shocking to me.

True, if you have struggled in the past, a win is a win baby!

Good start to the season for the SVC after the first week. Hopefully this is a sign that continues and maybe we can get more than a couple of teams past sectionals in the post season.

Who are the best teams in the area. FAC Jackson, Greenfield and Chillicothe? SOC West, Webster and Burg? SVC Adena, Paint Valley, Westfall and Unioto. How good is Portsmouth, Ironton, Coal Grove, Rock Hill. Warren and Sheridan are really good. Peebles and Eastern Brown will be tough. Who has the best conference?

SOC Waverly might be the best team in the district

Peebles? Whiteoak, Fairfield, North Adams all likely better
