1-1.
34 minutes left.

Waverly has controlled possession all game.
Just hasn't had many good looks.

McClain looks to be more defensive minded and not getting many looks at all offensively.

McClain has turned the attack on. They've had the majority of the possession for the last ten minutes. They've had several good looks on goal.
Looks to be an entertaining finish...

What a game, What a game. Couldn't be more proud of Waverly for their heart tonight! Hats off to McClain, they had a great gameplan and #10 Rivas is without a doubt the best pure striker in the area, amazing player. It's a shame he wasn't seen by more teams in the area this season.

Some quick stats

Shots WA 29 MC 18
Saves WA Moore 13 CL Casie 10
PKs Waverly 0000X 0X000 McClain 00X00 0X00X

Great job by the Tigers tonight. It was a pretty aggressive game. Rivas had a good game. His teammates sent longball after longball for him to utilize his speed. That appeared to be their strategy. I'm not sure why he wasn't marked like Wiget was considering he was such a threat. Waverly plays the passing game instead of longballs. That might hurt them when they play Warren if they don't mix things up some. I think if Waverly makes some adjustments to Warren they will win. Good luck on Saturday and may the best team win.

Wow hard to put this game into words....Mcclain had a good gameplan takes a special player to be able to play longball like that and Rivas is that player. Waverly did not have the same pace and touch as they showed against Marietta. Hats off to Waverly keeper Caleb Moore did good all game and great in PKs. Good luck Tigers Saturday for district title.

So am I understanding this correctly? It was actually 8-7 on penalty kicks with the game ending when MC missed their 10th kick. After the first 5 do they start with the winner being if one team has one more after each have kicked the same number? Or do they go by groups of 5, then 3, then one by one after that?
