Waverly @ South Webster Sept. 22

Post by Keegan »

What are people's thoughts going into this game considering most people thought these two teams to be atop their SOC conferences?

Both of these teams play a very similar style and both have a lot of athletes. It should be a great battle.

I will take webster in this one 3-2. I think mid field control will be key and I look for webster to play more agressive in the middle.

Websters last two games were vs clay and new boston, Waverlys last two were against Wheelersburg and Chilli, Jeeps may be asleep at the wheel. Waverly is probably to much for them to handle right now. Waverly 3-0.

Should be a interesting game. Preseason favorites going head to head. Could restore some respectability to Waverly's program.

It was a well played game for both teams. Webster probably had more possession in the first half. Waverly had more possession in the 2nd. Both Keepers played well.

Good game by both teams.
I agree with vball's assessment about possession and the goalkeepers.
Good luck to both teams for the remainder of your seasons.

Really impressed with Webster's defense. Took the corners away from Waverly. Still unscored upon in the SOC.
Waverly's defense is getting better. Offense needs to put the ball in the net. Nothing to be ashamed of.
