The brand new Waverly girls soccer program defeated defending SOC II champ Minford 1-0 in waverlys first ever home game! Great win! Waverly is very aggressive and only going to get better. Great job Coach Murphy!

Daniels out for Minford. Waverly with probably their best female soccer player playing boys soccer. I'd say that equals that situation out.

No. Burgs loses especially the second one falls on head coach. I believe the lady pirates are the team to beat in the SOC.

everbody is entitled to their belief. Minford probably most experienced team and with their coaching will adjust to loss of some key players, Waverly has few girls with club experience and good coaching, Northwest probably should have won both their games, Northwest at South Point loss there was a penalty kick missed and another foul called in box but wasn't awarded penalty kick, against Chesapeake they scored first 3 minutes of game and was called back for offsides, which was the right call, after that they looked little deflated. I believe the girls SOC is wide open with no clear favorite.
