Jackson has improved a lot especially on defense.

Banddad - Northwest goals were by Hall (2), Estep (2), and Moore (1) - there isn't a Hiles or Breech on Northwests' team this year.

Jackson made it very difficult to score for much of the game. The flat 4 in back (especially the center backs) played strong all night. They kept it packed tight and played very well. Jackson makes good use of the space on their field, much bigger than Chillicothe's field.

I thought they lacked some scoring punch, but their defense was solid and should keep them in most games.

Can't speak of earlier in the year...ie the Waverly / Jackson scrimmage. Maybe Waverly is just that good.

South Point over Piketon 5 or 6-1. Piketon is worse off than the Point they only had 1 sub that I could see South Point has 3-4 subs and also have 5 girls on the team 3 of those are starters! Not knocking the girls but that is just how the numbers are down!

Unioto 3
Miami Trace 1

Without 3 starters and down 1-0 early, Unioto shows heart for the 1st time in a long while for the win.

Does anyone have information on Point Pleasants soccer team? St. Joe has a home game Thursday with them.
