It sounds that simple, but you don't call practice for Friday night at 8 pm on Thursday night. Kids and parents make plans to do things on the weekends. Like going to local football games, spending family time. If they were told in advance it wouldn't be a problem, but for the last 2 weeks practice has been schedluled after thursday nights game.
Is there any other team practicing m M-W-F from 6 - 8 pm and playing T-Th-S. When do these kids have time to study, eat or doing anything else. Plus parents have to run the kids back out to the school and then go get them. I believe that practice makes perfect but there is such a thing as overkill.
South Point alwasy practictice on Fridays with the Middle School and High School programs and if the coach doesn't get off until after 5 then it will have to be a later one. IF they played sucky on Thursday then he has every right to call a practice for the next day!
