Yep! All SE District his senior year. Jake scored some goals off of his huge kicks.

Valley has done very well the last couple years with ball control, but have struggled at striking the ball well, it seems like they always have alot of shots, yet very few goals.

I would say that Randy Compan holds the record, I dont know what the number is, but ssusoccer could answer that...

I also know that Drew Fitch had a game where he had 20+ saves I believe, and also Ryan Kirkpatrick has a game of 20+ I believe.

I have not looked it up but I think the save record for a single game for Clay is over 30 saves and probably over 40 saves. Certainly the SOC record is over 40 saves.

These stats are always a little shaky when different people keep the books each year. Most of those forced into those volunteer spots have no idea even of the defination of save. Look at how many times a team will report their opponent taking only 10 shots but their own goalie getting 20 saves for the game.

Total saves in a season may belong to David Spriggs. Total saves in a career I can't remember. However shutouts, GAA, would belong to Randy.

Very true statement.

The goal allowed and shut out stats are irrefrutable (sp?) statistics. I tend to like them better. :-D
