I know in the past couple of year's that Worthington Christian has been in the same situation, so they definitely have the experience. Worthington Christian also is usually within the top 10 for the division according to state rankings. Should be a good game to watch.

Looking at WC, they play physical and have good speed. Defense plays together and are solid. I think SW will need to play a very good game to pull this one out. But this is the REGIONAL FINAL, so every team that gets to this point has to play a good game to WIN.

good run. keep up the work. i hope it is a well played game. webster has been playing well. can they keep up the offensive pressure.

Always nice to know a person is admired for their thoughts. I feel it to be a true honor to be considered a hero to someone.

We all realize that rankings mean nothing once tournaments start. I'm just stating some information for some that may not be aware about the Worthington Christian soccer program.

Someone should let the players see the thread on Saturdays game on the "other" site!
They are predicting a blow out.

Let me begin the yearly controversy of private schools playing public schools. Let them have their own championship and the public have their own and the two champions play for the ultimate state championship. One extra game and just think of the revenue.

jeep80: I remember Worthington Christian fans predicting a blowout over the Jeeps in basketball in 2006 as well because of "strength of schedule"...we all remember how that turned out for them!!

But soccer is WC's sport and you can't argue with their success. If I recall correctly, they beat Minford pretty bad in the regional finals last year. So yeah, WC is probably the favorite here. But Webster shouldn't be nervous or play tight as nobody expects them to win anyways based purely on WC's tradition. No matter what happens, it's been a great season for these kids and the best overall season in Webster's history. Good luck Jeeps*

That will play to our favor! You boys have nothing to lose. Prepare yourselves mentally and see yourself playing the most physical game you can mustard. WC puts their uniforms on the same way you do; WC are kids the same age as you are; WC has a 50/50 chance of victory just as you do so go out there with confidence and play as physical as allowed and drive it down their throats! Refuse to lose!!!

I've heard that the location has been moved to Paint's stadium.

According to the OHSAA website the game is at Paints Stadium at 3pm

Yes the game has been moved to Paint's Stadium & the bracket does now indicate the change. The weather looks to be good for Saturday. Hopefully there will be more local support with the new location of the game.

Would love to see the Jeeps pull this one off, but WC is one heck of a tall order.
A win here would be the first SE District team in state since, I believe, Unioto roughly 4 years ago.
