2012 Boy's Scores

Well, another season is upon us. As in the past, I will be heavily involved in keeping scores updated on the OSSCA website. Coaches are encouraged to enter their own scores, but the reality is that many do not. For that reason, there are many people, including myself, who keep scores updated throughout the state. In order to do this, I need the help of everyone here. Please take care to post accurate scores. Thanks and I hope all will have a good season.

Rough game at West. A few yellow cards were given out. Is it just me or do the refs favor whoever West plays? lol

Just wanted to add, the Logan Elm goalkeeper played an outstanding game, several great saves.

West held a 1-0 lead from about the 35:00 mark to about the 7:00 mark in the first half. The team is starting to look like it's coming together.

Also, for anyone keeping track of stats, Zach Dials had West's only goal. That gives him 4 for the season.

Waverly 1-3---4
West 1-0------1

West opened the scoring in the first 3 minutes and then Waverly took over. Not a good finishing night for the Tigers but we will take the win. West is very much improved and I expect them to pull off some upsets this season. Waverly outshot West 38-4. Goals were scored by White(2), Purpero, and Carter.

Wheelersburg went over to Minford tonight and fell to the Falcons 3-1 in a very physical game. Cards were also flying tonight but only at the orange and black! Congrats Falcons! Pirates, put this one behind you and get ready for the Northwest Mohawks on Tuesday!

JV game was 1-1.

Interesting to see the different perspective by both reports of the same game! Good to see West improving...........keep up the good work! Congrats to Waverly on the win!
