Yeah, no real reason for Burg to keep North Adams on their schedule going forward. Someone did suggest a mercy rule several years ago at the District meeting. It was voted against by several coaches. They stated that they didn't want to teach their kids to quit. I'm still surprised that this hasn't become a rule with OHSAA as most other high school sports have some type of mercy rule. Somebody in coaches' association should be pushing for it as these type of scores do not accomplish anything for all teams involved*
I would think a 10 goal differential, at or after halftime would be a good place to start.
