Waverly played well today at home. They took Chillicothe in 2. It took them 3 to beat Unioto (25-21, 22-25, 25-19). Wiget and Neff had good games Both Waverly and Unioto will be difficult to beat during tournament time. Good luck to both.

But with the seedings/bracket, they most likely will meet in the second round and a early exit for somebody.

Solid wins for Waverly today against very good teams. The Tigers end the regular season 22-1. Is this the best record in school history? In league games they ended up 42-1 and overall 59-7.

If Waverly were to bow out in the first tournament game the seeding process is still a farce. A three seed for this team is ridiculous. If this is the way things are going to be done they should just draw straws.

It was a complete JOKE that unioto is ahead of them in the seedings...But they may end up playing them again and get the last laugh anyway.I think they (Waverly) lost two games last year and got a 1 seed.I might be wrong though.

Toast, I think you better look at your schedule. You have them at 22-1, that's 23 games, the OHSAA only allows 22 in regular season play, if they played 23 the could be banned from tourney play.

I think if you count the matches on Waverly's schedule, it will only add up to 22. There are several schools that way. It looks as if the coaches double scheduled a match and it was deleted later, the result remained even though the match was deleted.

Waverly sweeps Jackson in the first round of the sectionals. And since Waverly got hosed they have to play at Unioto in rd.2.

Waverly came up short today, but you have nothing to be ashamed of.Even though you deserved better things sometime happen that you can't control.Congrats on another great season.

I agree Black Panther that Waverly deserved better, especially the seniors, but some things are just out of our control. Waverly should hold their heads up high and be proud that they won the SOC II out right this year and for three years in a row. Good luck to Unioto in the tournament.
