Thoughts and prayers to the family of Kala Hall, setter for Waverly. Kala's mom, Christy Hall, passed away unexpectedly this evening. A great lady, teacher, and mentor and a great family! Thoughts and prayers.

Prayers and thoughts from Jackson volleyball family.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and wishes. Christy was my sister and she left behind two beautiful girls. She loved watching Kala play volleyball and Morgan play in the band. I know she would be proud that the volleyball communities have opened up their hearts and prayers and would want to wish all the girls good luck. Tonight will be a tough night for the girls as it is senior night at Waverly and both girls will be there without her. Please keep her and her family in your prayers as they go through this hard time.

Anyone know when and where the funeral will be held?

Waverly schools are releasing early Monday. The funeral is Monday at 1:00 at New Convenant church in Waverly is what I'm being told. So sad. God Bless.

From the Throckmorton and Hall family we would like to thank all of you who prayed for this family during this tragic time. We would especially like to send out a special thank you to the Waverly School District, staff and community. You have touched our heavy hearts with your love, kind words and your wonderful gratitude to a special person that Christy Hall (Throckmorton) was. She will be sadly missed by many!!!!

Thank you Jackson volleyball for prayers and thoughts, it touches our hearts when we see so many communities reach out. Seen your team play tonight and was impressed, very scrappy group of girls that never gave up.

We're rooting for the Waverly girls. I'd love to see a run to the regionals. Many kind words were spoken of the Jackson girls by the Waverly fans. We appreciate it!
