Can Waverly win their fourth straight league title? They will have to replace half of the starters from last years team. Which teams could challenge for the league title? How do expect your team to do this season? First games are in just over a week.

Waverly could very well take the SOC 2 again as they looked very good at the previews, Sat. Portsmouth West should be in the mix near the top along with Oak Hill and Wheelersburg.

They cover a lot of the SVC, And Eastern Beaver but very little on the SOC. Since this is an SOC forum that is what I was most interested in. It is going to be exciting this year in the SOC 2 as there seems to be a pretty even playing field for most of the teams. Webster played Oak hill Tuesday and won in five, Oak Hill not the Oak Hill of the past, very scrappy. They remind you of a good Northwest and they will give many teams fits. Northwest takes Valley 25-0, 25-0, 25-9? Wow, all I can say is no matter how down a year a team has. back to back 25-0 wins always says "Consistency". Very excited to see who won last nights match up between NW and Oak Hill, two very similar styles of play and both teams playing well this year. Excited to see West take Waverly to five game, after winning one against the Burg and then seeing the Burg come back with three consecutive wins by comfortable margins.

It will truly be an "Any given night" type of season in the SOC 2.

Lets me get this right...Valley never scored a point in two of the three sets v.NW? That's hard to even imagine...Sometimes you might score a point just by accident...Wow indeed!
