Whiteoak has barnett and that is it...
so i would have to disagree with squiggy about them..
Eastern should be in top three with Manchester and i believe a tie for third in Fairfield and Peebles

squiggy what about eastern they win the league year in and year out, can't count them out, and manchester having lost several players it will be hard for them to contend again. I would have to say Peebles (1) Eastern (2) Fairfield (3) Manchester (4) Whiteoak (5), Lynchburg (6), Fayetteville (7), North Adams (8), West Union(9), Ripley (10)

Lynchburg has 10 seniors and is solid.

Their kids played well and won the babe ruth league this summer in hillsboro.

Watch out for this team.

Bingamon graduated last year for Whiteoak

"Whiteoak has Barnett and that is it"........I'd say a long tenured coach with a greatly filled trophy case and a program that seems to never have to rebuild might count for something.

Thats what they said about North Adams with Dave Young coaching basketball...still didnt do much in the league...Sure i think he WILL make whiteoak a batter team because he is a great coach....im just saying he has a little to work unlike the last couple of years.

Anyone know of players getting some college interest? I know Seaman is getting looked at by some pretty good schools but im not really sure if he will go baseball or basketball.

Peebles looked pretty strong the other day against Western Latham in their scrimmage. We had a bunch of the JV come up and play fairly well against the Western Varsity.

Two of the better hitters last season were Zac Dollich and Dillon Davis from North Adams both hitting over .400

Maniac you must have been at a different scrimmage game than I was. Peebles did not look good at all. Yes they were able to win the game but you have to look at the quality of their opponent. The team didn't hit the ball well at all(with the exception of 2 kids). The pitching is really going to make or break this team.

I thought they played fairly well considering they have had less than a week of practice as a full team this year. The game was really not very close, Western's performance only slightly picked up when we put half of the JV team on the field. Its alittle early to be putting the success..or failures of a team on the shoulders of one position dont you think?

LETS GO BIG RED

Fairfield beat North Adams 11 to 2 yesterday. Miller had 10 k's, while the lions hit the ball extremely well after the first two terrible innings. Fairfield plays Peebles @ Fairfield tomorrow.

Fairfield beats Peebles 14-1 @ Fairfield tonight .

Justice started for Peebles--Seamen a no show ( didn't hear why)

Miller & Campbell are pitching well. Team hitting has been impressive.

Go Lions!!!!!!
