Saturday openers in jeopardy?

Post by 93Bulldog »

I just don't see how any fields will be ready to go with all this snow on the ground ... what are the chances the Monday April 1st games will be postponed as well?

I'm not a professional grounds keeper - if anyone has experience with fields, perhaps fill us in on the prognosis of when teams can play this spring.

When it's done we'll get a couple days of sunshine and be alright. No worries.

We first need that couple of days of sunshine ... lol

The April 2nd opener for the 'Dogs looks like it might be o.k. ... but teams suppose to be opening up with double-headers Saturday - I'm not so sure about.

I'll say that by Thursday a lot will be in playable shape and by Saturday, the dampness will be gone if the weather holds true.

I know Unioto will play on Saturday, as they are at the VA in Chillicothe.

And Bum will do what he can to get his 3way in with West and Lynchburg as well. Who else plays on Saturday?
