Minford @ Valley
This game isn't until tomorrow but I figured I would start a thread on this anyway. The first time the Falcons played these guys the game wasn't even close. I look for a tighter rematch with the Falcons coming out on top. Should be a good one.

I would look for Coach Shuler to have his team ready to play a much closer game.
I still think Minford wins by 5+ runs, but nothing close to the score they threw up on Valley the first game.
Valley may get off to a slow start, but they always come around by the middle/end of the season.

I look for the Falcons to blow away the Indians again in this one. After winning two in Tennessee, and then coming back home and picking up a key SOC victory, I think the Falcons will continue their excellent play and beat Valley by more than 10. But, like the others have said.. thats still twice as good as they played in the previous game.

Re: Minford @ Valley
Rough night in Lucasville for the Falcons, losing 7-4 to Valley. Valley played with intensity and took advantage of several miscues in the first inning that lead to a quick 6-0 lead. Too many errors, base running mistakes, and lack of discipline at the plate for the Falcons. It's baseball though and those things happen, unfortunately. Next game is at Northwest on Friday and then a double header at home on Saturday against Coal Grove.

what is going on in falcon land ? this team is dead nobody is talking from players to the coaches. i remember when coach martin was very vocal , he needs some bench coaches .someone has got to keep this kids in the game ,positioning in the field is pethetic. nobody in the dugout keeping the kids minds in the situation of the game . they look like the only infield they take is the infield before the game.base rrunning so many mistakes .i just hope it gets fixed before tourney time

Big suprise in this one although Coach Schuler is the best at getting his team ready and progressively better as the season wears on.
Sounds like Minford may have lost a bit of fire in their belly. Hope Coach Martin can get them back on track and playing with motivation and emotion again. Good Luck Falcons.

Re: Minford @ Valley
wow.. never would have guessed this, especially after how well Minford played against Valley in the first meeting.
Re: Minford @ Valley
Are you kidding me? I guessed it at the beginning of the season. Minford is always going to have a competitive team, however they always seem to lose a league game they should win therefore taking them out of the race for the championship! It happens every year.

Hopefully they can fix whatever the problem is and get back on a winning track.
