Symmes Valley vs. Eastern Pike 5/3

Symmes Valley played a double header yesterday against Eastern Pike and I believe Symmes Valley had their hands full until the last two innings in each game.

Eastern Pike was leading the first game 9-8 going into the bottm of the 6th, when Eastern missed played a couple of fly balls and ended up losing 13-9. In the second game Eastern was up 8-7 going into the top of the 7th, when Symmes Valley got two runs. The score ended up being 9-8, Symmes Valley. Symmes Valley brought in Hatfield to close the door.

Do not know how many games Symmes Valley has left and there is no doubt that the Hatfield kid is good, but there is always that chance he could have an off day, and this Eastern Pike team can hit and put runs on the board.
