Oak Hill will surprise people this year. They have the entire pitching rotation back and outfield. Lost a little but can make up for it i believe. Look for a competitive season. They are now d4 also.
Burg will be tough as always and Minford will be a contender. I think NW will be way down and i dont know much about West or Waverly. How is South Webster looking?

Is Eastern Pike going to have enough for a team?

Any predictions for SOC I?

Being a fan of the SOC, I just wanted to dig this topic up and see how everyone's predictions are going a little over the half way mark in the league.

Mine are not bad with the exception of Valley and Oak Hill. Oak Hill not doing as good as what some of them on here thought they would!

I had Wheelersburg winning at 11-1. Still could happen but I would have to say it will be 12-0 when it is all said and done. Waverly I believe is better then Minford.

I have to agree... Waverly will give Minford everything they can handle and more. If Roberson is on the mound for Waverly they are a very solid ball club. It would not suprise me if Waverly would take one of these games. Without Roberson not sure how they compete as they struggled to beat West in both games.

I can't believe Minford lost to Valley. Coach Shuler again has his team ready to play.
puts Wheelersburg in the drivers seat. Up by 2 games on everybody it's going to be tuff to knock them of the hill.

minford fan here saying that burg is heading to another SOC title on their way to an appearance in the STATE. I didn't realize how good they really were. Minford seems to be a little inconsistent. Valley is the upset-specialist. and i don't think much of the other teams :| ...Coach Schuler improves his team day by day. Minford needs to get back in a rhythm. Wheelersburg just needs to keep doing what they are doing, not get a big head, and stay disciplined. I hope all the teams represent the SOCII very well in tourney play and would love to see a minford/burg matchup in regionals(i think that is where they meet each other).. I believe the next matchup will be a better game. Good luck to all.

Regulator wrote:I too think Coach Martin has done a great job, however the thing with Minford is they always lose to a team or two they should not lose to. They are always in contention to win the league but cannot. When is the last league championship by Minford? Not a smart elleck question, just wondering.

Minford was beaten in the District Finals by Adena last year. They beat an overrated South Point team in the District Semi's.

I think I called this before the season even started!!!
