With games starting next week, what "first games" of the year would be the best, in other words, worth watching...
Southern opens at home with the new renovations vs. Ripley...

Zane Trace at Minford
Regional runner-up team with six starters back against a veteran team in Minford who has maybe the best pitcher in the southeast district.

Piketon vs. Vinton County
Zane Trace @ Minford
League Games begin on the 2nd.
Bozo- Who does ZT play on Wednesday? And who has signed for them?

Roberts from ZT signed with Mt. Vernon Naz as a first baseman.
Farmer from Minford has sign with Mt. Vernon Naz as a pitcher.
Circleville on Tuesday.
Adena on Wednesday.
Southeastern on Friday.

Farmer is very, very good. I don't know if he would be throwing that game, with a league game on that Wednesday also.
BTW, isn't it about time for the SVC to change up it's league schedule? Seems like every year Adena starts with ZT and ends with Unioto or Westfall. Also, Westfall and Unioto each have weeks every year, where they play each other, ZT, and Adena.
How is the pitching looking for ZT in the preseason?

Honestly, I think the second game of the season, Oak Hill @ Burg, will be good.

dani, I have seen all three of the ZT scrimmages and the pitching is better than expected considering they lost their top 2 or 3 pitchers from last year.
