Chillicothe player injured

Post by BULDOG »

A chillicothe player (name?), right fielder, was injured last evening at the Burg/Chilli scrimmage. Deep facial lacerations from running into the RF foulline fence after a foul ball. Not sure how serious but the squad took him to the hospital. Last rumor was he was in pretty good spirits.

Hope this turn out well for him and wish him a quick recovery.

The player's name was WJ Corzine, he's a OF/P, he's fine after 300 stitches and a long night at the hospital. This kid is tough, he will hang in there.

score was 7-2 Chilli, and the number of stitches is no joke, that was only an estimation so it couldve been more

It's good to hear the boy will be okay. I was within 50 feet or so of the spot he hit on the fence and man did he hit it hard. It was almost like he didn't even see it as he was diving to try an catch a foul ball.

I hope he has a full recovery and no bad scarring, both physically and mentally, from this incident.
