Vinton County opens their season on monday. They are playing Piketon, and after a good scrimmage against Marietta and then a not so good scrimmage against a very good Huntington team last night they still have a lot of work to do to get ready for the season. They should be very competetive this year with a more well rounded team. They have great speed in the outfield and a good solid infield. Still looking for people to step up on the mound. They just need to throw strikes and let them put the ball in play. Then also when they bat also need to just put the ball in play and limit strike outs. Does anyone have any info on Piketon?
