Waverly lost to Adena Tuesday, but beat Northwest Wednesday.

The Tigers are 1-1 overall and 1-0 in SOC II play.

Minford beat Peebles twice on Saturday in their first double-header of the season. First game was 12-0 and I didn't get the score of the second game, but I think it was about the same thing.

The second game was 7-1 in favor of the Falcons.

Burg_Grad_77, is Waverly that good of a team or did Wheelersburg not bring their 'A Game'??

Waverly is a solid ball club and could prove to be a serious contender in the SOC2. Alot of people were overlooking Waverly this season, but they always field a decent ball club.

Burg did not get a solid outing from their offense. Giving credit to Roberson from Waverly for keeping the Burg hitters off balance with the off-speed stuff. Waverly did have several nice hits on the evening as Russell struggled a bit in the 3rd. Strike zone was inconsistent most of the day for both sides.

Burg did not bring their "A" game in this contest. They can play much better.

What is Valley's record so far? Heard they got smoked by Minford the other night but havent heard much so far about the Indians. I know Schuler will have them playin good ball by mid season.

Who pitched for GAHS? Looks like Jackson is gonna run away with the South Division this spring. Ironmen now 3-0.
